Move4Mobile and M2mobi will together become the Netherlands' largest mobile agency. The merger creates a mobile powerhouse focused on further conquering the international market. The joint portfolio already includes game-changing clients such as Quintet Private Bank, G-Star, ENGIE, Rabobank, Timing, Univé, Ahold, SNS and international airports such as those of Hong Kong and Dubai.
For the vast majority of enterprises, mobile applications are now a crucial prerequisite for business success. Moreover, more and more of them are following a mobile first strategy. The demand for specialized agencies capable of developing high-quality mobile experiences on advanced digital platforms is therefore increasing. With over 130 employees and offices in Amsterdam and Zwolle, Move4Mobile and M2mobi are now responding to this together.
Scale and expertise
The merger of Move4Mobile and M2mobi creates a player with the scale and expertise to realize the mobile ambitions of major national and international players. "Customers like Ahold, Quintet Private Bank or ENGIE are asking for ever larger teams with experts that are already extremely hard to find," says CEO Robert Kosse. "You only bind those experts to your organization with a continuous supply of very challenging and diverse projects. As the Netherlands' largest native app developer, we guarantee that offer for now and in the future."
Through our merger, we bring together a large amount of specific domain knowledge
Personalized experiences
Kosse identifies a clear trend where large organizations are looking to bring together more and more data streams and content sources on mobile. "For example, in apps for international airports like Hong Kong, Dubai and Dallas Fort Worth, we not only bring together numerous data about flights and bookings, but also, for example, options to make purchases, reserve parking spots or find the check-in desk with the shortest queue. Seamlessly bringing together such a personalized airport experience requires a lot of specialized knowledge and also creativity."
Domain expertise
To create a complete mobile experience, Kosse says domain knowledge is also becoming increasingly important. "You have to really understand the specific challenges of your customers for that," he states. "That applies both to their business challenges and the needs of the end customer. Furthermore, domain knowledge is also crucial for bringing together and analyzing large data streams. Through our merger, we bring together a large amount of domain knowledge in areas such as finance, consumer brands, the energy market, digital services and eCommerce platforms."
New management
Both companies will operate under their own names until the summer. The new board consists of Robert Kosse (CEO), Stephan van Leeuwen (CFO) and Jan Gerard Gerrits (Corporate Development). Commercial director Paul Fellinger of Move4Mobile will also have that position at M2mobi. Herbert Bosscher is Move4Mobile's new Managing Director, Mike Smolders gets that position at M2mobi.
